Entry #7: 7 things I believe in my heart to be True

7. Change is good.

Sometimes, change may not be what we want. Sometimes, change is exactly what we need. It will serve as a key to be able to see Life in all its angles and not regret a thing.

6. Words are powerful.

Amazing how those simple words formed by ordinary letters we read somewhere or said by someone affects us, words that could bring back a lot of memories, words that could change how we see the world. So be careful how, when and what words to use. Think quick and talk slow.

 5. in Destiny.

Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.”

4. that HE exists.

We may not all be in the same religion, we may not call Him the same name, but I know we all believe in someone. I believe in God, and I know that He is responsible for all the bliss we experience in life. I know that no matter how helpless I feel sometimes, He’s always there for me, always giving me hints that at the end of this dark tunnel, there would be light as long as I won’t give up, as long as I have faith.

3. Friends are hard to find.

Yep, friends without the word true. I think it’s redundant if I would still put that word because really you can’t call people friends if they aren’t true right? They’re so not counted in that category. And I am fortunate enough to have not just one but five friends I know that will stay in my life even in a Long Distance kind of friendship. They’re the ones who would tease you until you give up in trying to justify your point and you’ll all just laugh about it together. They’re the ones who will listen on your never ending crazy-broken-hearted remix speech until you’re done and you’ve had enough with yourself. They are the people who would eat your leftovers and unconciously drink your coke and won’t be sorry anyway. Hard to find right?

2. Books are the BEST.

The world of books is the most remarkable creation of man. Nothing else that he builds ever lasts. Monuments fall; nations perish; civilizations grow old and die out; and, after an era of darkness, new races build others. But in the world of books are volumes that have seen this happen again and again, and yet live on, still young, still as fresh as the day they were written, still telling men’s hearts of the hearts of men centuries dead.”

1. I believe in Love.

What else is there to say? Love isn’t just something you can ask a person to define about, it isn’t just a word you can search in google. It isn’t just some myths you learned in books, or stories that were memorized and told. It is something you have to experience, something you have to enjoy when it comes. Something that, when it’s real and strong, it will last a lifetime. Love is something like the sun after a long winter, so bright, intense and beautiful, it hurts. But still, who doesn’t enjoy a little sunburn?

Just remember that the person you love may leave someday, but the love you shared will always, always stay.
