Hello Bibliophiles!!!! Happy 2018! [whoops! I feel like this greeting is 2 months late and this post is 4 months super super late] I know I know, I have been M.I.A. since late last year, I’ve been preoccupied by some stuff a.k.a. my laziness. I’ve also been reorganizing and reconstructing my blog (if you haven’t noticed, we’re sticking to some black and white theme here) and I’m trying to catch up from my backlogs, and this post is obviously one of them. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this from my other posts, my friends and I actually took advantage of the huge sale from Bookoutlet last September(?), I’m not sure but the books came last October 2017 because if you are a Filipino book
hoarder reader, you’d know that Bookoutlet doesn’t directly ship books to the Philippines. Luckily, my friend’s aunt was on her way here to get some vacation so she brought our books here (for free shipping! Thank you Tita!!!!).
If you follow me on my social media, you’d know I freak out when the books arrived cause they’re all really pretty especially the hardcovers!!! *the exclamation point says it all* My favorite part is the deckled pages in These Shallow Graves book (which I’ll show below). Also, while writing this blog I was looking for the photos of my bookhaul then I realized I did film a vlog for this haul but I accidentally deleted it, sucks I know.
All in all I ordered 13 books, including one box set. Hopefully, I would find the hardcover copies of Six of Crows duology in the future because I’m pretty sure this isn’t the last time I would order from Bookoutlet.
Here’s the complete list of the books I bought:
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber
- These Shallow Graves by Jennifer Donnelly
- A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
- Some of the Parts by Hannah Barnaby
- We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach
- The Accident Season by Moira Dowley Doyle
- There Will be Lies by Nick Lake
- Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
- The Lunar Chronicles (Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Winter, Fairest) Boxed Set by Marissa Meyer
