Alex Craft knows how to kill someone. And she doesn’t feel bad about it.

Three years ago, when her older sister, Anna, was murdered and the killer walked free, Alex uncaged the language she knows best—the language of violence. While her own crime goes unpunished, Alex knows she can’t be trusted among other people. Not with Jack, the star athlete who wants to really know her but still feels guilty over the role he played the night Anna’s body was discovered. And not with Peekay, the preacher’s kid with a defiant streak who befriends Alex while they volunteer at an animal shelter. Not anyone.

As their senior year unfolds, Alex’s darker nature breaks out, setting these three teens on a collision course that will change their lives forever.

The book is about Alex Craft whose sister was killed, and how her life changed when she started hanging out with people who actually cares about her and aren’t scared of her. It was hard for her to open up to someone but then she was given a chance to experience what it was like having friends and a boyfriend who accepts her for who she is, or the person who they thought she is. The book crushed my heart every time I discover a side of the characters – especially Alex –  that was not always known to everyone else but was unraveling. The book is mysterious, thrilling, mind blowing and heartbreaking at the same time.

I have zero expectation for this book, I didn’t know what I was in for but THIS IS JUST SO FREAKING AMAZING. I highly recommend this book because the plot twist was so crazy and I had  goosebumps while reading this. It was an emotional roller coaster for me, everything hurts and everything was beautiful at the same time. I was so emotionally invested, it was unpredictable and mysterious (did I mention this enough?)

It is so hard to write a non spoilery review for this book because to spoil you of anything might take away the beauty of it, so I suggest that you go get yourself your own copy now and I bet you’d finish this in one sitting.
